BWF finishes the second phase of the Business Plan Competition

BWF has finished the training for the second phase of the Business Plan Competition under MEPI grant.

12 entrepreneurs were selected by a professional committee to take an intensive training on how to create and develop a full business plan. The training provided the opportunity for women entrepreneurs to take their project from initial concepts to comprehensive business plans that can be reliably utilized for decision making, monitoring and financing discussions. They were introduced to real-life simulation of research, planning, resource allocation, decision- making, presentation and business pitching. Entrepreneurs felt the importance of the competition due to the practical oriented nature of training and coaching, which focused on critiquing their concepts and trying to bring out their strengths and weakness in a participatory manner.   

The training focused on building capacity and skills on the following topics:

  • Marketing Study (market Analysis, market segmentation, Sales Forecasting and Section Write UP).
  • Technical Study  ( Production planning, Inventory and Costing, Infrastructure, Specifications, Costs and Section Write UP).
  • Administrative Study ( Human Resources Planning and Section Write Up).
  • Financial Study and needs ( Performance Income Statement, preformed Statement of Financial position, Performance Statement of Cash flows, Key Financial and Indicators).
