| | Business Development Center |  Since the establishment of the Business Women Forum - Palestine in 2006 by a group of businesswomen who either own or run an organization, company or project, which is a non-profit organization, who believes that women's economic participation is an essential element in economic development in Palestine. To achieve the goals of the Forum and from the belief in the role played by women entrepreneurs in Palestine, the Forum has established the "Business Development Center for Women" in 2009 with the support of Cherie Blair Foundation for women. The message identified by the founders of the Centre is "to work to enable women to increase their contribution in economic activities by increasing their competence and capabilities in the competitive domestic and overseas markets." In order to accomplish that, BDC will provide a package of necessary services to enable women to transform project ideas into well attainable and organized projects which are reflected in small businesses. |

Business Development Centre held a session of the basic marketing skills Business Development Centre held a training workshop entitled "basic marketing skills," in which thirteen from BDC beneficiaries have participated at this session, and which they are benefiting from the services provided by the BDC in the area of capacity building and women's pioneering business and enables them to manage their businesses efficiently.

Visit to BDC, Jordan and the Incubator at Faculty of Princess Basma, Amman – Jordan
A delegation represented by the Executive Director of the Forum, Ms. Doa’ Wadi and Business Development Centre Manager, Mr. Fadi Musa have visited each of the Business Development Center- Jordan and the business incubator at the Faculty of Princess Basma part of a delegation from the project partners UEC.

Participation of the Business Women Forum in the second annual conference for the "Union of Employers and the Union of Young Entrepreneurs' Organization for Cooperation of the Islamic countries in Doha – Qatar, Dec 2011.
The conference, organized by the Federation of Employers of Countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar, aims to increase investment and trade between businesses in the private sector at the states of the Organization members as well as strengthening communication between the business representatives of members of the Federation of Business and trade delegations participation from Islamic countries.
